Ordinary Science, Ordinary Faith

I was born into a family that took religion seriously. We said grace before meals ; we said prayers before bedtime ; we belonged to a Methodist church and attended church school and worship services almost every Sunday. In short, we were like most of the other families I knew as a child. It never occurred to me that religious faith was anything but a natural, ordinary part of life. more
